Annually, there are approximately 350 incidents investigated, 230 pet confinements, 85 rabies specimens tested and 35 human post exposure treatments arranged.
One key message to remember is not to release bats when found inside the home. Please call us first so that we can determine your exposure status. There are typically between 1 to 10 animals confirmed rabid each year.
