Lead Poison Prevention Program

Environmental Health works closely with the Public Health Nurses to manage cases of children identified with lead poisonings. Environmental Health conduct risk assessments to identify the sources of lead exposure. We also provide educational material regarding the prevention of lead poisoning and guidelines for the safe removal of lead paint during renovations.
