Senior Centers

The Senior Centers offer the opportunity for social interaction with other older adults, promoting conversation, camaraderie, support and friendship.

A well balanced meal enhances the daily nutrition intake and nutritional status of seniors. In addition to meals and socialization, the senior centers provide health screenings, nutrition and health education, nutrition counseling, access to senior services and information on topics of interest to seniors. Exercises and recreational activities are available and include:
  • Interactive Wii games
  • Cards
  • Billiards
  • Shuffleboard
  • Holiday parties
  • Evening events with entertainment and dancing
  • Outdoor games
  • Picnics

  • Aging Services Contacts: 494 home visits, 1849 office visits, and 3,010 telephone
  • 635 clients and or family members were assisted through the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (October 15 – December 7)
