RESOLUTIONS
Justification: Members of the Committee felt that they do not have enough information to spend $750,000. The presentation just raised a lot more questions. Kurt Behrenfeld said that the Committee had not seen quotes. Marilyn Brown questioned the maintenance costs. Scott Steve will meet with Fire Chiefs and the City Police Department to determine if they will buy into to this. Marilyn Brown suggested that they extend the date. Tom Hartnett thought that if we wait our bonding rate would be better too. Dave Wern told the Committee that the Company representative could come back and demonstrate the system to other municipalities/law enforcement agencies and fire companies. Rob Corpora has given the City the prices for what they would need.
DISCUSSION
Dispatchers: Lee Price and Mike Sweeney indicated that there is a need for 3 additional Dispatchers for the 911 Center. Scott Steve explained a detailed description of the shift staffing for the 911 Center, illustrating that they do not need 3 additional Dispatchers.
