MOTION PASSES
Discussion: This is a grant to perform an external survey to determine if the Transportation should be expanded. Phone calls will be placed to households of non-users of the transportation system. The time frame for this survey will be about 1 year. They have not hired a consultant but they have looked at the possibility of SUNY Cortland conducting the survey. Carol Tytler suggested Syracuse University. Carol Tytler felt that it is important that the word gets out that this survey is being conducted so that when the phone calls are made people will not think that it is some company conducting the survey. Carol Tytler further suggested that the survey could be put on the Cortland County Website. Carol also urged the Media to help to keep people aware of this survey.
