Others Present: Scott Steve, Legislative Chairman; Angie Wyatt, Secretary to Scott Schrader; Sheriff Lee Price; Bob Duell, Director-FEMO

An Alternatives to Incarceration Advisory Board meeting was held prior to the JPS meeting.

The JPS meeting was called to order at 9:05a.m. by Chairman, Dave Wern.

ON MOTION BY KURT BEHRENFELD – 2ND BY LARRY CORNELL TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF JULY 30, 2004 – ALL VOTED IN FAVOR – PASSED

Accept Bid – 3 Phase Compressor (Fire/Emergency Management Office): The highest bid received was in the amount of $377.50 from Charles Miller, PO Box 602, 2682 Phelps Road, McGraw, New York. ON MOTION OF LARRY CORNELL – 2ND BY MERWIN ARMSTRONG TO ACCEPT THE BID IN THE AMOUNT OF $377.50 – ALL VOTED IN FAVOR – PASSED

This was an attempt to get the best possible price for the Compressor, which no longer meets the requirements for the County’s use. The funds will be credited to the Fire/Emergency Management Office.

Solon Tower: Lee Price and Bob Duell reported that the Solon Tower went down during a recent storm. A brief discussion about finding a new location took place. Larry Cornell suggested the County’s Landfill Site. It was suggested that an expert consultant should advise the County where the 2nd Tower should be located.

MOTION BY ADJOURN BY LARRY CORNELL – 2ND BY KURT BEHRENFELD – ALL VOTED IN FAVOR – PASSED – THE MEETING WAS ADJOURNED AT 9:25A.M.
