Mission: The Nutrition Program provides hot, nutritious meals at each of eight Senior Centers in Cortland County. All individuals aged 60 and over, or married to someone 60 or over are welcome to participate. The Nutrition Program is a unit of the Cortland County Area Agency on Aging. Each meal provides a minimum of at least 1/3 of the Recommended Daily Allowance and approximately 500-600 calories.
The Cortland County Nutrition Program also makes available hot noontime, cold supper, and frozen weekend meals for homebound, handicapped older individuals. For further information call the Homebound Services Office at 607-753-5084.
Cortland County Senior Centers: The Cortland County Senior Centers would like to invite you to visit one of our various Centers throughout the County. Participants and staff at each Center are looking forward to meeting you. Centers are open to everyone 60 or over. Spouses under 60 are also invited. Please review our list of Centers and plan a visit. We suggest you visit the Center three times to really get acquainted. We hope after three visits you will want to attend on a regular basis. Each Center has several activities planned each day. These usually include games, crafts, and informational health or nutrition education programs or just good old fashioned fun!
Lunch served each day at noon unless otherwise noted. Centers may have other evenings meals as announced.
