Elizabeth received her BA in History from Bryn Mawr College in 1999, after which she spent four years working with children with special needs as a teacher and caseworker.  She earned JD from Hofstra University School of Law in 2006 and then joined the Office of the Bronx District Attorney, serving as a prosecutor from 2006-2011.  While in the Bronx, Elizabeth prosecuted hundreds of felonies and misdemeanors and for much of her time was assigned to the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes bureau.  She left the Bronx in 2011 to join the Cortland District Attorney as a prosecutor.

Elizabeth left the Cortland DA in 2015 to work for Cornell University in the Office of the Title IX Coordinator.  She is excited to re-join the office and looks forward to helping the people in the county who need assistance from the criminal justice system to obtain a fair result and preserve the safety of the community.  Elizabeth has been a board member of the Cortland YWCA since 2014.  She and her family live in Homer.
