Robert DeMarco is a 1998 graduate of Buffalo State Collage, having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History, from there being accepted into Thomas Jefferson School of Law earning his Juris Doctorate in 2001. After being admitted to practice law in February of 2002, Mr. DeMarco began practicing in his brothers firm; Bengart, DeMarco and Stromberg focusing on criminal defense work.
In 2003. Mr. DeMarco was hired by the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office, where he began prosecuting all areas of crime including theft, assault and sexual battery. Mr. DeMarco soon focused on prosecuting crimes of a financial nature and in 2008 was appointed Bureau Chief of the White Collar Bureau, supervising both attorneys and staff. In 2014 Mr. DeMarco left the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office and in 2015 took a position as an Assistant District Attorney with the Cortland County District Attorney’s Office where he currently prosecutes both misdemeanors and felonies.
Mr. DeMarco resides in Cortlandville with his wife Amy and their two boys, Robby and Jack, the family enjoys activities both inside and out.
