1. What information do I need when applying for HEAP?

Your fuel vendor name and account number, your last month of pay stubs and proof of any other income you may have. For emegency HEAP you will need proof of any resources you have.

2. How do I apply for HEAP?

You can apply for regular HEAP at www.mybenefits.ny,gov or at our office. If you have a fuel emergency, you must apply in person at our office. See our webpage for details. www.mybenefits.ny.gov
