Asthma

Aims to increase the quality of life for the asthmatic and better assist the public in identifying the causes and symptoms of asthma.

Project Examples:

• Case Management Services - Any child age three to sixteen who has asthma may be eligible to participate. Nurses with special training in asthma teach children with asthma to better control the things that can cause an attack, teach children what to do when an attack occurs, and make home visits and provide equipment such as spacers, nebulizers, peak flow meters, mattress covers, and pillow covers.
