Early Intervention Program (EIP)
Infants and toddlers who have suspected or confirmed developmental delays or disabilities may be eligible for the Early Intervention Program (EIP). This program has two components: Child Find and Early Intervention services. CHILD FIND The developmental surveillance component of the Early Intervention Program. A nurse will monitor and track the developmental progress of infants designated as "at-risk" for medical or environmental reasons.
EARLY INTERVENTION SERVICE The process of providing comprehensive evaluation and developmental services to eligible children and their families, to promote optimal development.
