Title: Early Intervention Specialist-competitive
class, per diem position, no benefits
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: Either:
(a) Possession of a Master's Degree or higher in Education from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees, and one (1) year experience in working with children with special needs; or
(b) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Education, and two (2) years experience as defined in (a).
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
1. Possession of a current New York State
Certification as a Special Education Teacher or Teacher of the Speech and
Hearing Handicapped.
2. Possession of a valid
Approved applications will be forwarded to the
Health Department until the position is filled.
