Title: Occupational Therapist OR Occupational Therapist Trainee-full time, competitive class, with benefits

Location: Cortland County Health Department

Salary: $25.4777–30.9976/hr. (Occupational Therapist), $23.5875-28.6978/hr. (Occupational Therapist Trainee) Salary above base may be available to current Cortland County employees only.

Minimum Qualifications:

Occupational Therapist:

A.) Licensed and currently registered by the New York State Education Department as an Occupational Therapist AND

B.) Experience as an Occupational Therapist involving work with children ages birth to five.

Special Requirement: possession of a valid NYS driver’s license appropriate to the vehicles operated or otherwise demonstrate their ability to meet the transportation needs of the job.

Note: ALL APPLICATIONS FOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY CASH OR A CERTIFIED CHECK OR MONEY ORDER FOR $12.50 MADE PAYABLE TO THE CORTLAND COUNTY TREASURER*

Occupational Therapist Trainee:

Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with a bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy AND limited permit to practice occupational therapy in the State of New York or proof of application of such permit at the time of appointment.

Approved applications will be forwarded to the Health Department until the position is filled.
