TITLE: PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE (Competitive Class) per diem position, no benefits; OR REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL NURSE (Non-Competitive Class) per diem position, no benefits

LOCATION: CORTLAND COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

SALARY: $23.8618-27.6766 hr. plus 15% premium after orientation (PHN)/$22.1478-25.6886 hr. plus 15% premium after orientation (RN)

For the Public Health Nurse position, each application must be submitted with $12.50 cash, certified check or money order made out to "The Cortland County Treasurer" (Personal checks are not accepted)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Public Health Nurse: Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with a Bachelor's degree in nursing. Special Requirements: License and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. Possession of a valid New York State driver's license or otherwise demonstrate their ability to meet the transportation needs of the job.

Registered Professional Nurse: Licensure and current registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. Special Requirement: Possession of a valid New York State driver's license appropriate to the vehicles operated or otherwise demonstrate their ability to meet the transportation needs of the job.
