APPLICANTS FOR VACANT POSITION

TITLE: STAFF PSYCHIATRIST - (part-time, Up to 8 Hours per week, competitive class, insurance benefits available)

LOCATION: Mental Health Department

SALARY: $112/HR

Each application must be submitted with $12.50 cash, certified check or money order made out to the "Cortland County Treasurer" (personal checks are not accepted)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from a medical school approved by the University of the State of New York, completion of an approved internship and:

A. At least three years of approved resident training in psychiatry and/or neurology; or

B. A satisfactorily approved equivalent of the experience stipulated in A.

Special Requirements: Eligibility for a license to practice medicine issued by the State of New York. Licensure must be obtained before an appointment will be made.

APPROVED APPLICATIONS WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE MENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT UNTIL THE POSITION IS FILLED.

June 2007, July 2007, December 2008, October 2009, November 2009 and December 2010 preferred list individuals will be considered for entry level positions for which they meet minimum qualifications.
