APPLICANTS FOR VACANT POSITION
Title: Building Maintenance Mechanic
Salary: $12.8768-15.6666/HR-2007 Rate (Salary above
$12.8768/HR. MAY be available ONLY to current County employees depending upon
date of hire)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either:
(a) One (1) year of experience at a journey-level in one of the skilled building
trades; or
(b)
Four (4) years of experience in either general building construction or
maintenance work; or
(c)
An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the
limits of (a) and (b).
Note: Technical school, post secondary trade
school, internships, and apprenticeships in any of the skilled trades may be substituted for experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Possession of a valid NYS driver’s license.
August 2004 and December
2006 preferred list individuals will be considered for entry level positions
for which they meet minimum qualifications.
