Zapella

Zapella, ZAP's superhero, provides engaging presentations to elementary-age children regarding bullying, acceptance of children's differences, and self-esteem. Zapella also provides the popular program "Cool Cats, Calm Kids"  which helps children to deal with anger in a positive way. Over the years, we have been  fortunate to have worked with a number of students from McGraw High School, who played the part of Zapella.

Oh Boy Babies

Fourth and fifth grade boys participate in 8 sessions of "Oh Boy Babies." This program teaches boys how to feed, dress, and play with real babies. The classes stress nurturing, child development, and the importance of responsible behavior. The boys learn to demonstrate warmth and tenderness along with gaining an understanding about the tremendous responsibility of fatherhood - a skill best left to adults.
