Help Awaits You


We have lots of people at our center waiting to help you. Our Youth Specialist will give you an orientation to the One-Stop, help you with interviewing and resume writing, give advice on completing applications, and direct you to programs that can help you with specialized needs.

Employment & Training


The Cortland County Youth Employment and Training Program has a lot to offer. If you meet special criteria, and enroll in this program, you can get help with school, jobs, life skills, vocational skills and paid work experiences.

Skills for Success


Need a tutor to help you succeed in school? They can help. Need help getting your GED? This program can support you as you acquire the credentials and skills necessary to be successful. You can even have fun as you go to workshops where you meet people who are making their living and being successful doing the things you dream of doing. This program is individualized to meet your needs. Come in and see how they can help you.

Medicaid


We have an on-site Medicaid Service Coordinator at the One-Stop. This person provides direction and assistance to vocational, recreational, and social services as well as help with job coaching for youth aged 14 - 21.

Job Listings


You can check out the available jobs on New York’s Job Bank or go through our printed job listings.

Anyone can come in our Career Center and use our computers to look for jobs, make resumes or practice keyboarding. Computers are available for everyone to use for job or school related purposes.

Anyone can sign up for our workshops. Just check out our calendar. Anyone can come in and read the daily newspapers or check out our great library of Career Development Books. We have nice resume paper to print your resumes on. We’ll even give you the stamps to send them out! So what are you waiting for?

Everyone needs some help sometimes. There are a lot of local agencies that can help you with all kinds of problems.
