Petroleum Bulk Storage Program - Facility Operator

The purpose of the program is to regulate petroleum storage facilities in order to protect the public health, and prevent gasoline spills to the groundwater. (Groundwater is used for drinking water by 98% of the county's population.) Registration of tanks are required and inspections are conducted to ensure compliance. There are approximately 630 registered tanks.
