The Regional Training Center (RTC) has become the nucleus for emergency preparedness training in the Central New York region by attracting a significant number of attendees from all corners of New York State that is having a direct financial impact on Cortland County. The RTC is fueling our local restaurants, hotel and retail business on a regular basis based on the myriad of diversified courses currently being offered at the facility. Multiple disciplines of community services including but not limited to law enforcement, EMS, fire, health coalitions, youth safety and area school district safety programs are offered annually at the RTC. The use of the facility has grown as shown below.
