Fire Officer I / Module Series - NFPA 2020 ed.

Fire Officer 1 is administered by completing the 5 separate FO 1 Modules as outreach courses in any order: Leadership and Supervision, Company Training & Community Risk Reduction, FF Health & Safety, Planning & Emergency Response, and Fireground Strategy & Tactics for 1st Arriving Companies. Upon completion of all 5 modules the student can apply for a Fire Officer I certificate. The series must be completed within 2 years. Cortland County is offering the individual modules separately but as a continuous schedule for the fall of 2023. Students wishing only to take certain modules can do that. Other students lacking any modules from previous instruction can sign up and attend any of the modules in Cortland County. Students MUST sign up for each individual Module, even if the intent is to take all of them sequentially.
